Michael P. Clemons
Michael
P. Clemons, 65, a life long resident of
Jackson, died suddenly at his home in the early
morning on May 29, 2009.
Michael was a graduate of Kennett High
School, Class of 1962 and proudly served in the
United States Army in the Vietnam War. Michael was a
DEDICATED employee of the Town of Jackson s highway
department for more than 30 years and was well
liked amongst the crew. He was a former member of
Jackson s Fire Department and a member of Francis P.
Murphy V.F.W. Post #5386 in Bartlett. Michael had
planned to retire on June 30th of this year.
Michael, a quiet man, enjoyed working at
his job, hiking, his yard work, and playing
with his two grandchildren. He made it very well
known that he loved his family, the town of
which he lived, and a particular view from a porch
in Lovell, Me. He will be greatly missed by his
family and friends.
Michael is survived by his loving wife
Sarah, son Michael from Jackson, daughter Kara van
Lingen and her husband Theodore van Lingen from
Uxbridge, MA along with his grandchildren, Mackenzie
12, and Austin 9, and his mother, Pat Roberts, from
Jackson.
Calling hours will be held at Furber and
White Funeral Home in North Conway on
Wednesday June 3, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside
services will be held Thursday June 4, 2009 at
11a.m. at the Jackson Cemetery in Jackson with the
Rev. William B. Rose, Jr., officiating.

Jackson Fire Department or a charity of your choice.
