About the same time I finally started this website I discovered that Bartlett had also recently initiated it's official Town website at www.bartlettnh.org     Only part of my intent is to answer questions for folks who don't live here; I primarily want this website to develop into a resource for the folks WHO DO LIVE here.  One of the first things I have done is put the entire zoning ordinance on this website. Lots of people I know have asked why it isn't easily accessible.  My hope is to get the various town meetings and functions to post the minutes of their public meetings here. As just one example; I think lots of folks are interested to know what happens at the weekly Selectman's meeting, but not able to actually attend.  Having those minutes posted here is a convenient way for anyone with an interest to take a look any time when it fits THEIR schedule.  I believe there are many other endeavors that people would find an interest in if there were an easy way to become knowledgeable about the things going on in town.     This project will not ask for, nor accept, any taxpayer funding.  You will not see a warrant article asking for monetery support.  My intention is that this web site will be self-funding through the support of like minded individuals and businesses who are always there to help those activities that they feel are worthwhile.  If it cannot be self supporting by this method, that would indicate that perhaps it's not such a great idea after all...but I'm willing to see how it progresses.    AS A DISCLAIMER, I'd like to emphasize that while this subject matter involves all the Town Offices, Schools and Organizations, it is in no way endorsed by any of them.
